1) Click on the apple on the top left of your screen, then click on "system settings".


2) On the left had side of the settings window, scroll all the way down until you see "Printers and Scanners" then click on it.


3) On the Printers and Scanners window click "Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax" 


4) When the "Add printer" window pops up click the "IP" icon in the middle.



5) Enter the following information in the fields needed:

    A) Address: Enter the IP address of the printer you are trying to connect to.

    B) Protocol: Click the drop down menu and select "Line Printer Daemon - LDP"

    C) Name: Enter the location of the copier.

    D) Use: Click the the drop down menu, click select software. Type in the model number of the copier and select the option that has "PS" next to it as seen in the second image.




6) When done selecting the software and clicking "OK", click "add" on the main printer window which will take you to the main "Printer and scanners" window


7) Click on the printer you just added and on the window that pops up click "Options & Supplies"




7) In the next window click the Utility tab at the top. then click Open Printer Utility.



8) In the next window click "printer information"




9) Let it load, then hit "OK". When it takes you back to the previous window click "Save settings"



10) Give it a few seconds then you can exit out of that window and all the other windows that are open.
