Turn dial on top of the walkie talkie to turn it on. The dial also controls the volume.
Changing channels
When the walkie talkie is on, the + and - on the side change the channel. They should be on channel 16 by default. If its on a different channel you will have to change it to channel 16 in order to be connected and hear everyone else.
